The Meeting House is a timber frame building set on an acre of landscaped grounds in a picturesque historic village easily accessible from Boston, Providence, Newport and the communities of southeastern Massachusetts.

Love This Wedding Site

We looked at a bunch of wedding sites before deciding on this wedding venue. We think it’s one of Rhode Island’s best kept secrets. The location is amazing. The inside is beautiful, the people that came to our wedding were raving about it. We had our wedding ceremony inside, then we went outside and had our dinner under the tent, and then went back inside for dancing. Coordinating with their wedding planner was a little tricky, as she wasn’t that quick to get back to us mainly because she isn’t into emailing. When I sent the wedding planner an email, she would call back. This would often times happen during work hours so I could not speak on the phone. A few of those conversations came back to hurt me when it came to costs of the wedding. The wedding planner said over the phone that we wouldn’t’ have to pay a fifty dollar fee for access to the site before the event, but a few days before the event she called to remind me that we would have to pay that fee. But in the end, this wedding site is breathtaking and the few minor glitches we had with communication would not be enough to keep me away from using this for my wedding venue. I highly recommend The Meeting House and would use it again for my wedding venue if I was to do it all over again.
